Republican member of the Senate Armed Services Committee seeks a Legislative Aide to work on national security, armed services, and foreign policy issues. Duties include drafting correspondence and memos, assisting the national security team on Armed Services Committee work, meeting with constituents, and other duties as assigned. Applicant should bring solid written and oral communication skills, a willingness to learn and grow, and a strong work ethic. Demonstrated knowledge of and keen interest in global security and defense policy are highly desired. A military background and prior Hill experience are strongly preferred.
